About your counsellor
My journey to counselling
I am an integrative counsellor offering counselling in Canterbury, Kent and online across the UK.
After spending 25 years working in the corporate world, I recognised a deep desire for a meaningful career change—one centred on supporting others and fostering genuine wellbeing allowing others to flourish.
I took my pathway to retrain as a counsellor and psychotherapist becoming a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). This second career has brought true fulfilment and inspired the creation of "Compass Counselling Practice".
I want our sessions to be a space where you can be yourself, without judgement or expectation. Somewhere you don't have to put on a brave face, have all the answers or be the person who holds everything together.
My aim is to offer a grounding, supportive compass when you feel off course, allowing you the space to pause, reflect and navigate your challenges.

How we can work together
I have experience supporting young adults within higher education setting as well as working alongside frontline emergency services.
We will work collaboratively, exploring whatever you bring to our sessions, focusing on what is at the forefront of your mind and working at a pace that feels right for you.
Together, we can explore your experiences, thoughts and feelings, recognise patterns that may be affecting you and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.
My aim is to support you in finding a sustainable path forward and becoming a more authentic and fulfilled version of yourself.
